Privately owned and nestled into a sun filled valley, surrounded by native bush, The Currumbin Valley Eco Retreat was designed with a focus on simplicity, nature and intentional living. The Retreat offers 15 stand alone eco villas, with large deck areas facing panoramic views and overlooking native bush. Rooms are designed for relaxation and privacy while common areas offer ample space for shared practice, yoga workshops and catered dining. The large scale of the venue can comfortably accommodate wellness retreats, yoga festivals, conferences, creative retreats and extended group stays.

15 private eco villas. The villas are spread throughout the valley site with long axis aligning to the views, for maximum privacy. Finishes are natural with bespoke touches: each room has its own private deck and views; air-conditioning; cotton sheets and towels; ensuite bathrooms with private toilet; hairdryer, tea/coffee maker and mini fridge; comfortable couches and ironing board and facilities. Entertainments include large flat screen smart TVs with casting capabilities. Villa 1 is an accessible villa with king bed, Villas 2 and 3 are king bed that convert to king singles, Villas 4 to 15 have 2 queen beds each. Accommodates up to 30 guests.

Valley Room: yoga and meditation studio. A large open room with timber floors and eastern exposure ideal for sunrise classes and gentle workshops. Breeze Room: functional gym. A completely equipped fully functional gym with free weights, power rack and all the essentials. The Breeze Room also doubles as a space for yoga training and high energy group coaching classes. Chef’s Kitchen: communal kitchen for group dining and experiences. Big Lounge and Big Living Room: a series of breakout spaces with comfortable couches, tables and chairs, ideal for smaller groups, presentations, or a space to simply unwind and talk quietly. Six multipurpose breakout rooms in total. All breakout rooms are located away from villa units to minimise disturbance and disruption.

Three plunge pools and sun-drenched pool decks. A series of plunge pools and pool decks are built into the side of the valley for sheltered cooling down under the open sky. Infrared Saunas. A series of intimate infrared saunas are provided for added recovery and relaxation. Viewing decks and walking tracks. A series of walking tracks and viewing decks meander through the site and the valley, leading to a viewing platform with prolific birdlife.

Free on-site parking. Secure free on-site parking is available for mid-sized groups. On-site amenities include: natural body wash, shampoo and conditioner provided in each villa; fresh high quality bed linen. Well designed architecture and layout maximise natural ventilation and daylight, connection to landscape, and views. The emphasis on natural design means all rooms overlook the valley and native bush.

The Currumbin Valley Eco Retreat is best suited for responsible, engaged group stays. The maximum occupancy is 30 guests and minimum stay is three nights. We welcome clients hosting immersive programs, multi-day workshops and corporate retreats. To preserve the quiet nature and native habitat: amplified music is only permitted in communal indoor areas with windows and doors shut; amplified music is not permitted outdoors. Parties, weddings, bucks and hens events, large functions are not permitted. Pets are not permitted on site to protect the native wildlife, including registered service animals which must be disclosed prior to booking and agreed to conditions. Smoking is not encouraged on site and can be confined to a defined area upon request; smoking on bush walking tracks is prohibited for fire safety reasons. For safety and to protect the property, stilettos and high heels are not permitted on site.

Clear and enforced policies with noise management. One warning will be given for excessive noise or anti-social behaviour. A second incident that requires a security, police or management response will result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of the full tariff and any deposit, plus specified call-out fees. These measures are in place to protect the property, the native environment and the quality of each guest’s stay.
